Christmas was fantastic!

I can’t believe how spoiled I was. James got me an iPhone 5! And a Catbus plushie, 25 books, wizarding world gringotts coins, a special graphic novel boxset, it’s huge and amazing! butterbeer (kind of), this really nice keyboard which I am using right now. I just need to get a mouse with it too and have a whole new wonderful set up for my computer - to help encourage my writing. Also, he got me bow and arrows! Gah so excited about it, I’ve already used it a few times and I SUCK, it’s amazing. And, the Wii LOTR Lego game!

From my fam I got snow shoes! Which I haven’t been able to use yet. I kept them at my parent’s house because we were supposed to go hang out there again today, and they ahve a large lovely yard I was going to traipse all over. But, then it snowed and snowed and snowed, and the roads are bad. So, the thing to allow me test out my new snow shoes is the very thing that kept me from using them! But also, my foolishness and not bringing them home with me! My brother tested them out and just texted me saying how fun they were. Lames.

Lovely red plush robe, a great winter jacket that turned out to be too small, have to return it and find a new one, boo. My brother got me Luna Lovegood’s wand, The Secret of Kells blu ray, a new manga series and most amazingly, a Stormy Kromer hat (a brand in the UP), it’s very cute and very warm. I’ll need to post pictures of everything sometime.

I got a huge old book full of beautiful maps of countries. Fancy perfumes, a nice shirt and tights, katniss barbie because I’m a huge dork, a lovely set of knives (martha stewart, they’re in light green, yellow, red and aqua. James and I recieved a deep blue japanese teapot with two cups and saucers. I also gave james an awesome red enamel teapot made in japan. It all looks so good on our counter, I can’t wait to move to a place with a big beautiful kitchen and have all of our lovely things in nice locations on display to make it look nice. 

sigh.

Anyway, it’s been a really great past couple of days. We all got spoiled by one another and it was really great. Everyone liked their gifts, which is always so exciting. 

I can’t believe we ended up with a white christmas! The sunrise on our way to my parent’s place, with a light dusting of snow on everything, was just spectacular. Everything looked peaceful and clean, crisp and light. I can’t express it, everything just felt perfect and right.

I have to say, I loved it! 

Ugh, The Hobbit! Peter Jackson keeping it alive!

I know it has mixed reviews. It was a tad long (almost 3 hours), and there are two more but, it was very good and I enjoyed it immensely. 

Other than that, I’ve been busy lately! Being social and christmas shopping. Not busy editing my novel, which I really should be. I seriously haven’t worked on it in a long time. I have to get back into the habit (I almost typed hobbit, ha!).

Almost done buying and wrapping. I swear the day after chrismtas I will get to my novel. No, I should work on it now. Why am I the worst at this?
